Summer Staff General Application Information
Are you ready to make a difference this summer?
In 2012, we will minister to countless kids, students, adults, and ministers, and we are looking for the best of the best to join us. If you become a part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to be a part of seeing life change happen, and it's all because of Jesus Christ. It's an incredibly rewarding opportunity, so if you're up for the challenge, apply today!
What does summer look like for our Summer Staff?
Student Life summers are fast-paced and incredibly fun. In 2012, we are sending out 4 teams to do youth camp and kids camp, and we couldn't be more excited! Each team is led by an Event Director and an Event Coordinator, who both work year-round in our home office to make sure details are coming together for the summer. Every team member has a specific job, and you can download a list of job descriptions for each position. Teams will travel together all summer to make camp happen all across the country. When we're not doing camp, we're traveling to a new location and getting ready for the next group of students or kids that we'll be ministering to. Our greatest job as a Summer Staff member is to be a minister in everything we do. Student Life is looking for college and grad-school age folks who are ready to invest a summer and truly make a difference.
What can I expect in my interview?
Two of our Event Directors will meet with you for your interview. They'll ask you questions about yourself, your walk with the Lord, and what you're looking for in a summer opportunity. Make every effort to interview in person, but if you can't, you can schedule a Skype interview. The interview step is huge in the process of us finding out who will be a good fit for our summer teams.
