Answer: The cost per person pays for your stay at a condo or hotel in Gatlinburg (see package options) as well as the four nights of worship, three morning celebrations, late night concerts, Thematic Bible study content, a giveaway t-shirt per participant and one copy of Student Life: The Magazine which includes Bible study, quiet times and special features.
Answer: It is very helpful to have transportation available to your group all week, as most properties are not within walking distance to the Convention Center.
Answer: Student Life will have a reserved lot at the Convention Center that will be free for parking. Every condo/hotel has their own parking policies. The majority of them offer free parking to customers.
Answer: There is limited bus parking at some of the properties. Arrangements need to be made with the property regarding large buses and people movers.
Answer: There are 2 options for your group. There is a large lot northwest of the Convention Center a few blocks away. It will accommodate any size vehicles-including charter buses. There is also a parking garage across the street that will charge a daily fee for you to park in. There will be a map accessible to you in the camp prep center that will be available in the spring.
Answer: Corporate gatherings happen twice a day. We meet for "Celebration" at 10:30 in the morning and "Worship" at 7:30 on the first night and 7:00 on nights 2, 3 and 4. The rest of the day is free for your group to use as they want! There are 2 concerts that happen on the 2nd and 3rd day of the event.
Answer: "Yes," we do, BUT we ask the local church to monitor their student's clothing. In Worship we ask that girls not wear anything too short or low cut, as well as no tank tops or spaghetti strap shirts. The guys should not wear clothes with holes in them, tank tops or muscle shirts or any clothes with questionable words or pictures. And while we are in the pools, girls need to wear one-piece bathing suits and guys should wear board-style bathing suits.
Answer: In a word, "No." Student Life does try to accommodate groups that are over 200 people so that they can sit in the same area, but individuals cannot save seats for their group.

Question: What is the adult to student ratio?
Answer: One adult for every five students is requested. Condominiums (Park Place, Summit Manor, Laurel Inn, Gatlinburg Towers) require 1 adult per unit.
Answer: Every property is different. If you register for a property that has kitchens we will try to allot at least ONE kitchen for every group. Though there are no guarantees, we work very hard to make kitchens available to all groups where kitchens are available.
Answer: Student Life works hard to get rooms close together, but there are no guarantees. We realize it's best for the group if rooms are close together, so we try to accommodate every group as best we can.
Answer: Student Life is given a limited number of rooms at every property. We want as many students and adults to be able to join us as possible, so we use EVERY bed space we possibly can to help keep your cost low. The majority of the rooms we use are standard hotel rooms with 2 beds in them. Some hotels may also have a sleeper sofa. Condo units are set up differently and may contain any combination of the following: king beds, queen beds, twin beds, pull-out beds and roll-a-ways. Roll-a-ways are not available at every property and depending on the room size, roll-a-ways may not be an option because of fire codes.
Answer: Limited room inventory doesn't allow for us to reserve rooms just for individual families. If you inquire and one becomes available, the room comes at an additional cost and is determined by location. This information is often not known until Rooming Lists have been submitted.
Answer: The online Event Prep Center will equip you to arrive ready. Some of the items you'll find online that we need BEFORE arriving are the Group Leader Agreement, your Rooming List and your Final Balance.
Answer: Registration is taking place at the Convention Center. It is VERY important that your group arrive BEFORE 4pm EST to ensure that you get checked into the event and your condo/hotel. Every group MUST check in with Student Life BEFORE checking into your condo/hotel. Always allow more time than you think when estimating your travel time. Groups showing up after 4pm won't be able to check in until after Worship.
Answer: If this is the case, it's important that you notify Student Life at the time your register. Additional rooms can be added to your registration IF THEY ARE AVAILABLE. There will be an additional charge for extra rooms added to your registration.
