Self < less

Selfless = Less of Self

...Sounds rudimentary, right? But how much of a student's energy, resources, time, and money are wasted trying to make themselves greater - sometimes at the expense of others? In Philippians, Paul demanded selflessness from believers, that we literally push ourselves to the back of the line. But how? That's not really in our fallen nature, right? Here's how: By making our attitude and mind the same as Christ. Jesus is the picture of less-of-self. He made Himself nothing, taking the nature of a servant and being obedient all the way to the worst death imaginable. It's in this selfless attitude that we are called to act, live, think and speak.
