TRANSPORTATION

We recommend you have transportation available throughout your week at camp. Some properties are not located within walking distance and will require group leaders to provide transportation to the Convention Center. If you plan to bringing buses, we recommend you have a standard size vehicle to use for those late night runs to grab ice cream for your awesome adult leaders or any other unexpected situations that may arise.

SLEEP

Student Life has partnered with some area hotels so you can book your own rooms at a discounted rate! This gives you the flexibility and control to have the number of rooms & types of rooms you need to best accommodate your group! Want to arrive 1 day early or stay an extra night? Coordinate your needs with the housing option of your choice!

EAT

A meal plan that includes 6 meals is available for $90 per person.

What meals are provided?

Lunch and dinner on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will be provided by area restaurants including The Gumbo Diner, Taquiolo's Tex-Mex Cantina and more!

Can I order meals for just part of my group?

No. Meals will be ordered for everyone in your group excluding those with a status of C1 (please see housing list instructions for status codes).

Where will the meals be served?

More details to come but plan to pick up your meals at one of the area hotels and they can be enjoyed on the beach, at a nearby park, back at your hotel or wherever it's convenient for you! Meals will be packaged "to go."

What time will meals be served?

Lunch will be available at 11am, following the morning session. Dinner is at 5pm. Please arrive on time.

If the Menu lists multiple entrees, can I choose my entree in advance?

No, selections will be served first come first serve.

What about food allergies?

These should be noted on your attendee list by May 4th. This info will be passed along to those preparing food. Attendees with food allergies will be given a marked wristband allowing us to know who will need alternate meal options. Food allergies noted after the deadline may not be able to be accommodated due to food ordered in advance. Double check with everyone in your group!

Can I adjust my meal numbers after May 4th?

We will not be able to decrease your numbers or switch your meal plan after May 4th, adding a couple people following this date should not be a problem unless we see significant increases in numbers. We will not be able to increase after May 25th.

Why is May 4th such a hard deadline?

We make financial commitments with both hotels and food vendors on this date. Large orders of food are placed based on the commitments we make.

Do I need meal tickets?

At check-in you will be given a wristband that must be worn in order to receive meals. Please assist your group in putting these wristbands on so they are not too tight or too loose.

Who should I contact if my question isn't listed?

Please contact Rebekah Eddy: rebekah@studentlife.com or 1-800-718-2267

Robby Gallaty

Camp Pastor

Vertical Worship

Worship Leader

GAWVI

Concert Artist

Robby Gallaty

Robby has served as Long Hollow Baptist Church’s Senior Pastor since 2015. He wasn’t always a pastor, though.

For three years, he battled a $180 a day drug addiction that ravaged his life. After losing eight friends to drug related deaths, watching six other friends get arrested and completing two stints in rehab, Robby remembered the Gospel he heard in college and was radically saved on November 12, 2002.

Robby met weekly with David Platt, a seminary student for accountability, prayer and Bible study, which instilled a passion for missions, expository preaching and disciple-making in his life. he holds a Masters of Divinity in Expository Preaching and a Ph. D. in Preaching from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Today, Robby’s gospel conviction and evangelistic zeal drive him to passionately “make disciples who make disciples.”

Robby and his beautiful wife, Kandi, have two young sons: Rig and Ryder

Vertical Worship

Based in Chicago, Vertical Worship is a collective of Worship Leaders and Songwriters from multiple campuses across Harvest Bible Chapel. Their songs include “Open Up The Heavens”, “Spirit of the Living God”, “Exalted Over All”, “Lamb of God”, Found in You” & “The Rock Won’t Move”.

The idea that worshiping Jesus Christ is best done not when we just sing about him or what he has done or what he will do in the future. The highest and best worship is modeled by what the angels do: sing to God about God. Vertical.

Their latest release is a studio album with the most popular songs from the history of Vertical Worship re-imagined with new and exciting arrangements for Worship Leaders and worship music enthusiasts.

GAWVI

Born to an El Salvadorian father and a Dominican mother, GAWVI’s parents instilled in him a sense of boldness at a young age. After working under the tutelage of Rodney Jerkins and Pharrell, GAWVI grew a vision for his art. His aim is to usher in a new sound and redefine the possibilities of what popular music can accomplish.

As a result of his refreshing approach, GAWVI has been able to carve his own path, merging hip-hop, and electro to create a sound with a uniquely global appeal. From producing on a host of critically acclaimed albums and chart-topping singles for Lecrae, Andy Mineo, and Trip Lee, GAWVI has cemented himself as one of the most dynamic producers in recent memory.

His work has been performed on NBC’s The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon and praised by MTV, VH1, BET, Fuse, Esquire, VIBE and more. GAWVI has produced on over 25 projects including Grammy award-winning, Anomaly. GAWVI is set to release two EP’s marking his debut as an electro-pop artist, DJ and award-winning producer.
