Southwest Baptist University is located on a campus of 152 acres just 25 miles north of Springfield, MO. SBU offers great meeting facilities, dorm style housing, an indoor pool and a great recreation space.

Landon Dowden
Landon Dowden serves as the lead pastor of Hebron Church in Dacula, GA. After graduating from LSU, he spent eight years at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary earning a Master of Divinity, a Master of Theology and a Ph.D. in Preaching. While working on his degrees, he traveled full-time speaking for numerous conferences and church events. He literally traveled coast to coast in the States and also led trips to Rwanda, Wales, Uganda, Mexico, Germany, Chile and the Bahamas.
He continues to travel today speaking at Student Life events and other conferences. While Landon does not claim to have everything figured out about life, God or why women love shoes so much, he knows that two keys for any pastor are to love his people and feed them God’s Word.
He is married to Tara and father to Arabella, Adalaide, Adoniram and Alastair. Leading and shepherding his family is a great priority to Landon, as is making disciples through preaching, mentoring, biblical counseling and through living life together in the power of the Gospel.
