As a college band that began out of the dorm rooms of Point Loma Nazarene University, Urban Rescue continues on mission to write and produce music for their local community and world abroad.
Based in Los Angeles, California, the heart of the band is reflected in their songs: honest, authentic, and passionate. The band’s first full-length album “Listen Empty” is a personal dialog between creation and Creator, exploring faith amidst heartache, pain and doubt. “Listen Empty” independently reached #9 on the iTunes Gospel and Christian charts worldwide.
Band members Jordan Frye (vocals/guitar), Justin Wright (drums/keys/programming), Brandon Zedaker (bass/keys/Moog/background vocals) and Nolan Sisk (guitar/ background vocals) say they “want to continue the legacy of those artists who have gone before us in worship music as leaders in the ways people relate to God and engage the world. Music is a giant part of our culture and our mission is deeply rooted in the Gospel, to build a bridge between people and the loving heart of God.”
